Mook Development

A Mook is an unusual race. Gangly lumbersome creatures one might think unsuitable for professions requiring good motor skills. With severely limited Piety you may even want to immediately rule out any professions requiring a pious individual.

They have good resistances to some of the most feared realms of magic on Dominus. They are strong, vital, intelligent, and have more sense than any other race available. Their good Intelligence, Senses, and Strength combined make them reasonably good choices for melee professions. One might even get the feeling they would do well in at least some of the hybrid professions where they could put their combined physical and mental strengths to good use.

They lend themselves well to being a Psionic but is it wise to limit them? With their excellent Senses they stand to gain Eagle Eye sooner than any race if combined with the proper profession. With this in mind you can see they would do exceedingly well as a Ranger or Gadgeteer. Their lack of speed can be compensated for, see the Need for Speed discussion, but their high Senses increase their initiative well enough to compensate for their lack of speed.
