. Rescue the 7 dwarves left behind in the Red Dwarf Mines by administering
a special potion. |

The rescue
itself involves only the upper level of the mines and each Dwarf is fairly
easy to find. The only trouble you will have is with the oozes.
Use anything of fire against them, spells, wands, weapons, etc. Enchant
your weapons with fire aura, or if your weapons are already enchanted with
something else, then grab what you find in the mine carts and laying on the
floor and enchant them. |

The Archer
Promotion
to Warrior Mage revolves around the lift and takes place on the lower
level of the mines. Basically you need to get past the medusas and
place the worn belt Steagal Snick gives you on the Machine deep in the
mine and get out in an hour.

The medusas
can be difficult, they paralyze and turn you to stone. A protection
from magic spell is very helpful, but items of the Medusa make you immune
to stoning if you can land any of them. One enchantress here will produce
a Special Item
, Medusa's Mirror which is an amulet. Equip it on
who ever seems to be the most susceptible to their stone attacks.

There are
several potions of remove stone and cure paralysis laying about, I'd suggest
grabbing them. Spells do not work against these gals so the best tactic
is get in close very quickly and pound them in real time combat mode.
