Faerie Hall - How to Enter the Hall Under the Hill

To enter the Faerie
Hall first go in the direction indicated. Just walk until you "feel"
and hear yourself teleported to the next level, then turn around and come
back again until you see the opening going into the central portion of the
mound. |
Quest for Ranger Promotion: once you
enter the central mound the Faerie King will greet you. If you have
spoken to Ebednezer Sower in the Tularean Forest simply speak to the King
about
Hunter, and you will receive your promotion.

Johann Kerrid wants you to
deliver a letter
to the Faerie King and return to him with the with Faerie Pipes.
Just speak to the Faerie King about the Pipes and he will give them to
you.

|
There is however a price, he demands all your food. He does
give you access to the rest of the mound to replace the food he has taken
from you. (If you do this quest early in the game as it is intended to be
done the food loss is inconsequential. Later in the game... well that's another
story.)
