Trynton

Lower Trynton Map

Cross the bridge and explore the Trynton area. At the city entrance speak with Chief Gari and agree to help him. You may now enter Trynton.

Follow the tunnels and then click on the ladder to climb up. Take the other ladder in the same room down and get the items; then go back up. Enter the green room and take the ladder down.

Take the nearby ladder down and get the items below; go back up. Take the third ladder up to the 4-Ladders Room. The north ladder leads to a small room with crates; get the items and go back down. The northeast ladder leads up to a few items; go back down when done. The west ladder leads to a Rope-Climb Chamber; click on the rope to ascend to the upper walkways - the First Bough.

Outside the small chamber, on the left, is a short ladder which leads to a pool which produces a random good or bad effect. Taking the south walkway will eventually lead to a circular walkway with a locked door. Pick the lock and open the chest inside for some items. Continue on down the ramp, enter the lift, and click on the counter-weight stone to rise upwards to the Trynton Upper Branches.

Upper Trynton Map

This is the Second Bough area. At the T intersection turn right (west) and gather some items in the room at the end of the walkway. Return to the T and go east.

At the 4-way intersection go east to the Sanctuary; click on and take two vines. Outside you can click on the fountain and answer the riddle (memory or experience). Return to the 4-way and go south to Fuzzfas’s Potion Palace; speak and trade with him (buy a mystery potion). Again return to the 4-way and now go north. At the next T go north and get an item or two. Return to the T and go east. At the red-stained walkway enter the house to find some items. Go back out and take the pathway north.

At the Zoo, your mission is to get the shiny metal ball from Bobo's cage. You can fight Bobo or you can mix the rotted meat with some faerie dust and put it in Bobo's feeder. Once he's asleep open the door and get the ball. Clear out the other cages if you wish.

Take the northeast path to the T and take the ramp up north. Enter the House of the Rising Elms and get the Zuzu petals. Go back out and continue northward. At the next T go right (east) and examine the east wall carefully in that house. Also get the blue marble. Once done, go back west and then take the north ramp up. At the 4-way, go north and curve around to meet Madras.

Speak with this Gadgeteer who will ask you again to kill the rats. He will give you some potions to help. Go back to the last 4-way and go to the Fourth Bough. Use the blue marble on the blue doorway. Enter the Pagoda and examine and plunder the Archives and the Armory. Enter the Seventh Bough and climb up onto the platform. Eat/drink (use) the Zuzu petals and the mystery potion to meet the shaman. Listen to him and gain a nice experience point reward. Return to the 4-way intersection and take the Fifth Bough route. Take the ladder up and go through the north exit. Follow the walkways to the broken bridge. Merge the two vines together and use them on the broken bridge to fix it. Continue on to enter the Rattkin Tree area - the Sixth Bough.

Go to the second T and click on the rope on the left side to climb down to the lower level. Go east; take the first right (south) and pick the door lock. Enter and look around (you'll come back later in the game). When done, return to the T and go east down the walkway.

Enter the large house at the south end of the path and speak with Milano Calzone. Tell him you're looking for the Dark Savant; he’ll lead you to Don Barlone. Listen to the Don and then talk or trade as desired. Afterwards, you can open the chest in the corner but be warned - it is well trapped. Leave the Don and go to the other room in the house and get the Ratt Key. Open the chests if you can - they have traps and tough locks. Now exit the house.

Take the east path at the T to the Breeder’s House at the top of the ramp. Prepare for a very difficult battle. Use the Ratt key on the locked door and fight the breeders. Plunder the room when done. Now return via the once-broken now-fixed bridge to the Upper Branches area.

At the second tree you can take the other doorway (southwest) and explore that area. Return when done and go down the ladder to return to Madras. Ask him about the Destinae Dominus. This completes your first Trynton exploration. It is now time to enter the Swamp. Return to the Rattkin Tree area and take the lift down to Lower Trynton. Climb down the rope and then go speak with Chief Gari for some experience points. Finally, head southeast to the Swamp.
