Road to Arnika
As you exit the monastery, you will probably encounter several groups of tough monsters. Once you kill them continue along the trail westward. At the T intersection you can go south to find a good chest. Continuing west you'll exit the badlands and see the road that leads south to Arnika or north to the Northern Wilderness. Just to the north of the intersection is a locked building; you can camp safely behind this structure. On the road, if you go north, you'll find a cave on the east side with several useful items. Going south will lead you to Arnika.
