Wizardry 8 Walk-Through
Ascension Peak
Exit the tunnel from the Castle teleporter to the west. At the T go north to the large clearing with the statues in the center. From here go east, unlock the giant gate and follow the route north. Speak with Amit and pay him off (or go north and fight Peewee). Once past this area follow the only route north to the First Temple. Enter and cross the center and Aletheides will appear. Respond with "knowledge" and 'man" to go through the portal. Put the Destinae Dominus on the holder and return back through the portal (which now transports you to the central clearing with the statues).
Go southwest; unlock the gate and follow the rocky path to the west and north. Enter the Second Temple and again meet Aletheides. The answers are: "change" and "Dark Savant." Put the Chaos Moliri in the holder and return back to the central clearing.
Go west, unlock the gate, stay to the left at the T, and proceed NW to the cave mouth. Enter and then emerge on the NW side. Continue on and fight all enemies until you reach the Third Temple. Enter and again exchange words with Aletheides. This last set is "life" and "Phoonzang." Place the last item, the Astral Dominae, on the holder and again return to the central clearing.
The last route is also to the west but this time at the first T go NNE and
follow the path to the Cosmic Portal.
All three "blocks" should now be part of the ramp (these are the "earthquakes"
you experienced at the other temples). Meet the
Dark Savant here; he'll flee
into the portal and you should follow him to the
Cosmic Circle for your final
encounter.
