Valkyrie Development
The Valkyrie is a surprisingly powerful character. Her Cheat Death ability occurs so frequently you get a feeling she is truly an immortal. 

Though her bonus is to Polearm a Valkyrie can use and excel with any weapon in the game. She can also take advantage of the heavier armors and shields available. 

Strength and Dexterity are very important to the Valkyrie, particularly when taking advantage of the Polearm skill bonus. Vitality and its expert skill of Ironskin may be a consideration if you plan her to be a front rank combatant, particularly with two handed weapons making the use of a shield impractical. Should you have intentions of her fulfilling a healer's role as well, Intelligence and perhaps Speed will need some consideration.
