Stephen Sand, in The Pit, sends
you on a God forsaken mission of which this is just the first step. The Scroll
of Waves you need to decode the cipher he gives you is in a
Bookshelf in the NE section of the building. |
| To get there you must use the Lever
(L1) under the counter near the entrance.
The main door leading deeper in to the school will cause you damage if you
attempt to open it by any other means. |
| Next you need to travel east and be
cautious of the corner square as it sets of the
Traps and a light bolt zings at you from 2 directions.
(We used invisibility and repeatedly stepped on the squares until all the
Wizards and Golems in the side halls met with mysteriously unfortunate accidents.)
Then just grab the scroll out of the Bookshelf
on the south wall just inside the door. |
Should you get nosey and travel up
the spiral staircases you will find yourself face to face with a
lever panel. Careful it can seal you in the room.

Not to worry, if you do drop the walls you can open them again with
the Levers in the
Vault. |
| The Secret
button by the bed opens the passage to the south to the room there. |
